Our orthodontists are certified in the Invisalign system of braces. At your first appointment, we will determine whether Invisalign is right for you. If you are a good candidate, a 3D image will be created to provide a more accurate impression of your teeth. The image can also provide a picture showing how treatment should progress.
Clear, removable aligners will be custom-made from the imaging that was performed and will be worn over the teeth. This system puts much less pressure on teeth than traditional braces and will move your teeth gradually. The aligners need to be changed out to a new set approximately every two weeks. Although fewer visits to us will be required, as treatment progresses, appointments will be needed to assess how well your treatment is going, likely on a six to eight week schedule.
For Invisalign treatment to be successful, aligners should be worn at least 20 hours every day. They can be removed for eating, brushing and flossing your teeth, enabling you to maintain your great dental hygiene habits. Once your treatment is complete, a retainer will likely be needed to prevent teeth from shifting back to their original position.
1. Minimal interruption to daily life

3. Reduced Treatment Time
- Generally between twelve and eighteen months
- Removable for eating, brushing and flossing
5. No Embarrassment
- Clear aligners means no one may know you’re wearing them
Invisalign is often considered to be much more costly than other braces, but, when comparing the benefits as mentioned above, it is actually a cost-efficient orthodontic treatment. This is especially true considering the time spent in the orthodontist’s office and the freedom that comes with their invisibility and flexibility in your everyday life.
You can discuss cost prior to treatment to decide if it is right for you. We also offer affordable payment plans.
